    Twin-tower oxygen generation system utilizing pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology

    Two adsorption tower will be installed in parallel in PSA oxygen generator, one tower begins the adsorption phase while other tower regenerates by de-pressurizing. The PLC controller manages process valves with built-in logic for an automatic stop/start for continuous oxygen production. The whole system is composed of air purification system, air storage tank, separating system of nitrogen and oxygen, and oxygen buffer tank.

    Integration Capability

    • Adopt advanced pneumatic shut-off valve for fast start and stop without leakage, can meet frequent usage with high reliability and service life.
    • Adopt automatic PLC controller with low annual operating failure.
    • HMI (Human-Machine Interface): Features intelligent, one-button control with English subtitles and a touchscreen display for real-time monitoring of nitrogen flow, purity, equipment inlet/outlet pressure, and fault information. It also allows for online modification of equipment operating parameters.
    • Selection of Renowned Brand Components: We offer optional components from leading brands, including Atlas Copco air compressors, Japan Iwatani molecular sieves, Siemens controllers, Airtac electronic components, Burkert (Germany) valves, and GEMÜ (Germany) valves.
    • Remote Real-time Equipment Monitoring:
      1). Reserved RS485 communication ports (Modbus or Profibus communication protocols) or Industrial Ethernet communication ports are available to facilitate user integration of nitrogen generation equipment signals into their DCS (Distributed Control System) for real-time monitoring.
      2). We can directly provide industrial PCs, monitoring software, printers, etc., for seamless integration with the nitrogen generation equipment's control system for real-time monitoring.
      3). An Internet-based intelligent IoT (Internet of Things) system can also be provided for intelligent analysis and monitoring.
    • Automatic Purging of Off-Spec Nitrogen:
      1). A product nitrogen sampling port is provided for the analyzer to sample and determine if the product nitrogen purity meets specifications.
      2). If purity is off-spec, the system automatically switches to the off-spec gas path to vent nitrogen.
      3). Once purity returns to specification, it automatically switches back to the qualified gas path to deliver product nitrogen to the consumption end.
    • Unique Cylinder Compaction Technology: Automatic compensation for molecular sieve loosening ensures the molecular sieve remains consistently compacted. This effectively extends the lifespan of the molecular sieve and guarantees reliable, long-term operation of the equipment.
    • Adsorption Tower Structure Technology: Further enhances molecular sieve utilization and improves equipment performance. The unique adsorption tower structure design effectively changes the speed and direction of internal airflow, reducing dead spaces within the tower. This further boosts molecular sieve utilization while preventing high-pressure airflow from impacting the molecular sieve, reducing pulverization. These factors contribute to extending molecular sieve lifespan, improving adsorption performance, and reducing energy consumption.

    How PSA Oxygen Generation Works

    Our PSA oxygen generator can separate oxygen from compressed air utilizing zeolite molecular sieve (ZMS) when pressurized. As nitrogen has a higher diffusion rate in ZMS pores, the sieve will adsorb the nitrogen and moisture over oxygen, allowing the oxygen to pass as product gas at pressure. After de-pressurizing, the sieve releases adsorbed gases into the atmosphere, and the process can then be repeated.

    Applications
    • Electric furnace steelmaking: decarburization, oxygen assisted heating, foam slag dissolving, metallurgical control and post-process heating
    • Wastewater treatment: aerobic aeration of activated sludge, pond oxygenation and ozone sterilization
    • Glass melting: oxygen combustion and solubilization, cutting, increasing glass production and extending furnace life
    • Pulp bleaching and papermaking: large volume oxygen of low price can help conversion of chlorine bleaching to oxygen-enriched bleaching, as well as support sewage treatment.
    • Non-ferrous metal smelting: oxygen will be for smelting steel, zinc, nickel, lead, etc. PSA is gradually replacing cryogenic method in this process
    • Field cutting construction: containerized or small oxygen generator can meet the requirements for oxygen used in field steel pipe, steel plate cutting.
    • Petrochemical and chemical industries: oxygen-enriched air can be used to replace atmospheric air to carry out oxidation reaction in petroleum and chemical processes, which can increase the reaction speed and the yield.
    • Ore treatment: used in production processes of precious metal such as gold to increase the extraction rate
    • Aquaculture: oxygen-enriched aeration can increase the dissolved oxygen volume in the water, largely increasing fish production and enabling intensive fish farming.
    • Fermentation: using oxygen-enriched air to replace atmospheric air to supply oxygen for aerobic fermentation can dramatically increase efficiency.
    • Drinking water: supply oxygen to the ozone generator for sterilization.

    A: The entire machine comes with a one-year warranty.

    Q3: Are there any accessories or maintenance parts that need to be replaced?

    A: The air compressor requires maintenance every 3000 hours, and filter elements need to be replaced every 8000 hours.

    Q4: Can you send engineers to the site for installation and commissioning guidance?

    A: Yes, we can. The oxygen system operation is relatively straightforward. Generally, on-site installation and commissioning by our engineers are not required; users can install and commission simply by following our drawings and manuals. For any issues, you can contact our after-sales personnel at any time.

    Q5: What are the equipment's operating costs?

    A: The entire system is electrically driven. Apart from normal air compressor maintenance and filter element replacement, other components typically do not require replacement for 5-6 years, resulting in low operating costs.
